Playing Ravaged Coast Step by Step

Battlefield Setup

Setup the tabletop and objectives according to the current month’s battle plan. The battlefield can be any size, but the recommended minimum battlefield size is 44″ x 60″ and the recommended number of Terrain features is 8.

We recommend players work together to setup the battlefield and terrain to best reflect the current Ravaged Coast battleplan. Each terrain features should be more that 3″ from the battlefield edge, more than 3″ from Objectives, and more than 6″ from other terrain features.

Emberstone Clusters

Setup D3 + 1 additional Emberstone Cluster Objectives (40mm) on the battlefield. Players alternate setting them up. If there is neutral territory, the first 2 must be in neutral territory more than 3″ from player territory. Clusters must be setup more than 6″ from battlefield edges and battleplan objectives. If it is not possible to setup additional clusters, they are not used.

Deployment

Follow the order of deployment and rules listed in the current battleplan. Then follow the Core rules for deployment phase.

Uneven Armies

After the first month’s progression, if one player’s army is at least 200 points more than their opponent’s, that player has an overwhelming force and must use the Stalled Reinforcement rules.
