Setup Emberstone Clusters – Battlefield setup
Emberstone Clusters (pg 31) – Setup D3 + 1 additional Emberstone Cluster Objectives on the map. Players alternate setting them up. If there is neutral territory, the first 2 must be in neutral territory more than 3″ from player territory. Clusters must be setup more than 6″ from battlefield edges and battleplan objectives. If it is not possible to setup additional clusters, they are not used.
Battle Twists – Start of Battle
One player rolls on the twists for the battle. Rolls of 6 roll again for the first month.
Aqshian Anger – Passive
This passive is in effect for the entire battle.
Battle Round Twist Table
- Player with the least VP is the Underdog. If tied:
- If a player took double turn (went last in previous round, then first in current round), their opponent is the underdog.
- If neither applies, there is no underdog. Players roll off and the winner rolls on the twist table and applies effect as though they were the underdog.
Collect Emberstones – End of Turn Ability
Any unit carrying an emberstone token has the following passive:
Emberstone Dig Sites – End of Battle
A unit already carrying an emberstone token can dig for a second token at the end of the final battle round.
